What is Cronus Agent?

Cronus Agent is your dedicated Telegram-based assistant designed for trading tokens on the Cronos blockchain. It supports both automated and manual trading operations, helping you navigate the Cronos DeFi space with greater ease.

The bot primarily utilizes VVS Finance for executing trades, ensuring you have access to a popular decentralized exchange on Cronos. Price information is typically sourced from Dexscreener&RPC to provide you with up-to-date market data.

Our focus is on providing a secure and efficient trading experience directly within your Telegram chat.

Key Principles

Cronus Agent is built on several core principles to enhance your trading journey:

  • Intuitive Chat Interface: All interactions with Cronus Agent, from setting up your wallet to placing trades and managing orders, are performed directly through the Telegram chat interface using commands and interactive buttons.

  • Enhanced Security with Isolated Signing: We prioritize the security of your assets. Your private key operations are managed by a dedicated and isolated component within our system. This design significantly enhances the protection of your sensitive information by limiting direct access from the main bot application.

  • Efficient Trading on VVS Finance: Trades are primarily routed through VVS Finance, a leading decentralized exchange on the Cronos network.

The $CRONUS Token

Cronus Agent is designed to be a key component of the vibrant and user-focused $CRONUS ecosystem. This ecosystem is built on principles of shared success and community involvement, highlighted by a 100% revenue sharing model and a clear path towards decentralized governance.

About the $CRONUS Initiative

The $CRONUS token is envisioned to be at the heart of this ecosystem, facilitating both the revenue sharing mechanism and the planned governance framework. Our aim is to create a platform where user activity and engagement are directly rewarded and where the community helps steer the project's evolution.

πŸ’Έ 100% Revenue Sharing

A foundational principle of the $CRONUS ecosystem is the commitment to 100% Revenue Sharing.

  • Core Concept: This means that all revenue generated from Cronus Agent's operations, primarily through the 0.5% trading fee applied to transactions facilitated by the bot, is designated to be fully distributed.

  • Beneficiaries: $CRONUS token holders will share in all revenue generated.

  • Distribution Details: The specific mechanics of how and when these revenue distributions will occur for $CRONUS token holders, along with any prerequisites for participation, will be announced soon. Stay tuned to our official channels for these important updates.

This model is designed to ensure that the success and transactional volume of Cronus Agent directly translate into tangible benefits for those invested in the $CRONUS token.

πŸ—ΊοΈ Governance Roadmap

The $CRONUS ecosystem is on a path towards decentralized governance, empowering the community to shape the future of Cronus Agent.

  • Community Influence: The governance roadmap outlines stages for increasing community control over key aspects of the platform.

  • Decision-Making Role: The $CRONUS token is planned to be instrumental in this governance structure, enabling token holders to propose and vote on significant platform matters. This could include new bot features, adjustments to fee structures, allocation of ecosystem development funds, and other strategic decisions.

  • Participation: Further details on the governance model, proposal processes, and how $CRONUS token holders can actively participate will be rolled out as we progress along our development roadmap.

Cronus Agent's Role in the Ecosystem

By utilizing Cronus Agent for your trading activities on the Cronos network, you are actively participating in and contributing to the $CRONUS ecosystem.

  • Your trading activity helps generate the revenue that is earmarked for the 100% revenue sharing program, benefiting $CRONUS token holders.

  • As the governance framework is implemented, your involvement and feedback as a user will be invaluable, with opportunities to influence the platform's direction through the mechanisms established for $CRONUS token holders.

We are dedicated to building a transparent, rewarding, and community-driven ecosystem with Cronus Agent and the $CRONUS initiative.

Welcome

Welcome to the official documentation for Cronus Agent!

This guide is designed to help you understand all the features of the Cronus Agent bot, from setting up your secure wallet to utilizing its various trading tools on the Cronos network. Whether you're looking to make quick market trades, set up automated DCA strategies, or explore advanced limit orders, you'll find the information you need right here.

We encourage you to navigate through the sections to familiarize yourself with how Cronus Agent works, its security features, and how you can make the most of its capabilities.

Let's get started!

Getting Started with Cronus Trading Agent

Welcome to Cronus Agent! This section will guide you through your first interactions with the bot and how to set up your secure trading wallet.

Interacting with the Bot

Cronus Agent is designed to be used directly within your Telegram chat. You'll interact with it using:

  • Commands: Type commands like /start, /menu, token_name, CA , buy token_name or sell token_name to initiate actions or request information.

  • Inline Buttons: Many functions are accessible through interactive buttons displayed directly in the chat. These buttons will guide you through various setup processes and trading actions.

The bot will often present you with menus and prompts to guide you through operations like placing trades or configuring settings.

Initial Setup: Your Secure Wallet & PIN

When you first interact with Cronus Agent by sending the /start command, the bot will guide you through creating a new, secure wallet on the Cronos blockchain.

Here’s what to expect during the initial setup:

  1. Automatic Wallet Creation: A brand new Cronos wallet address and its corresponding private key will be generated for you by the bot.

  2. PIN Creation: You will be prompted to create a 4 to 6-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN). You'll need to enter your chosen PIN and then confirm it. This PIN is crucial for the security of your wallet.

    • Your private key is encrypted using strong encryption methods, and this PIN is part of the security measures to protect it.

Once your wallet is created and your PIN is set, you're ready to fund your wallet and start exploring the trading features of Cronus Agent!

The PIN itself is also stored securely as a hash.
  • When You'll Need Your PIN:

    • Initial Setup: As described above.

    • Sensitive Actions: After the initial setup, your PIN will only be required for highly sensitive operations such as exporting your private key, resetting your wallet, or changing your PIN.

    • Daily Trading: For regular trading activities like placing buy/sell orders, limit orders, or DCA orders, you will not need to enter your PIN once your wallet is set up.

  • Security & How It Works

Cronus Agent is built with your security as a top priority. Here’s a simpler overview of how we protect your assets and information:

    Your PIN & Wallet Protection

When you first use Cronus Agent, you'll create a 4-6 digit Personal Identification Number (PIN).

    • What Your PIN Does:

Your PIN is like a password, used only to authorize very sensitive actions such as viewing your private key or completely resetting your wallet within the bot.

  • For everyday tradingβ€”like buying, selling, or setting up automated ordersβ€”you won't need to enter your PIN after the initial wallet setup.

  • How Your Wallet is Protected:

    • The private key for your bot wallet is always stored in an encrypted format using strong security measures.

    • Your PIN is also stored in a highly secure, unreadable format (hashed), meaning no one can see your actual PIN.

  • PIN Safety: To prevent guessing, there's a limit on how many times you can try an incorrect PIN. Too many wrong tries will temporarily lock access.

  • Isolated Signing: Securely Authorizing Your Transactions

To ensure your trades are processed securely, Cronus Agent uses an advanced system for handling transaction authorizations (signing).

    • Dedicated Secure Processing: When you confirm a trade or action that requires blockchain confirmation, the necessary cryptographic signing is performed within a specially protected and isolated part of our system.

    • Enhanced Key Integrity: This means your private key is used to authorize your transactions only within this secure environment. This method adds a robust layer of protection, as the main bot functions do not directly interact with the key in its usable form.

This all happens seamlessly in the background, designed to keep your funds safe while you trade.

    Token Review & Safety Indicators

Cronus Agent tries to provide helpful information about tokens you might be interested in, but you are always responsible for your own trading decisions.

    • Finding Tokens:

      • You can usually find tokens by typing their name or symbol. Tokens that are easily searchable this way have generally been reviewed for basic legitimacy.

      • You can always trade any token available on VVS Finance by pasting its unique contract address.

    • Safety Indicators:

      • Redflagged Tokens: If a token has been identified as potentially having higher risks (like unusual fees or contract issues), the bot will show you a warning. You can often still choose to trade it, but you should be extra cautious.

      • New or Unreviewed Tokens: If you search for a token by name/symbol and it's very new or not yet widely recognized, it might be flagged for a quick review by our team to ensure it can be listed correctly.

    • DYOR (Do Your Own Research): These indicators are for informational purposes. It's crucial to always do your own thorough research before investing in any token.

    Your Wallet

Your Cronus Agent wallet is where your CRO and other Cronos-based tokens are held for trading within the bot. This section covers how to manage and secure your wallet.

    Viewing Your Balances

Keeping track of your funds is straightforward:

    • Main Menu: Your current CRO balance is typically displayed on the main menu of the bot for quick reference.

    • Holdings Menu: For a detailed view of all your token balances, including their approximate CRO and USD values, navigate to the "πŸ’° Holdings" section from the main menu.

    • /balance Command: You can also type the /balance command at any time to get an update on your CRO balance. (Note: The "Holdings" menu provides a more comprehensive overview.)

    Depositing Funds

To start trading or pay for transaction fees, you'll need to deposit CRO (the native currency of the Cronos network) into your Cronus Agent wallet.

    1. Find Your Wallet Address: Your unique Cronus Agent wallet address is displayed on the main menu. You can also find it by navigating to "πŸ’° Holdings" and selecting "πŸ“₯ Deposit".

    3. Token Approval: If this is the first time you're selling this specific token through the bot, or if a previous approval was insufficient, the bot will guide you to approve it for trading. This is a one-time transaction per token that allows the bot to execute the sell on your behalf. (See "Understanding Token Approvals" below).

    4. Gas & Slippage: You can adjust the gas mode and slippage tolerance.

    5. Confirmation & Execution: You'll see an estimate of the CRO you will receive. Upon confirmation, the trade is executed.

    Understanding Token Approvals

Before you can sell a specific ERC-20 token using Cronus Agent (or any decentralized application), you need to grant "approval" to the bot's smart contract system.

    • What it is: An approval is a transaction on the Cronos blockchain that allows a specific smart contract (in this case, the one Cronus Agent uses for trades) to transfer up to a certain amount of your tokens on your behalf.

    • Why it's needed: This is a standard security feature of ERC-20 tokens. It ensures that smart contracts can't move your tokens without your explicit permission.

    • Process: If an approval is needed for a token you're trying to sell, Cronus Agent will automatically detect this and guide you through the approval transaction. This usually involves confirming a transaction with a small gas fee.

    • Frequency: Typically, you only need to approve a token once for Cronus Agent's trading system. For convenience, the bot usually requests approval for the maximum possible amount (MaxUint256) so you don't have to re-approve for subsequent sells of the same token.

Setting Take-Profit (TP) and Stop-Loss (SL) for Market Buys

When you place a market buy order, Cronus Agent offers the option to automatically set up Take-Profit (TP) and Stop-Loss (SL) limit sell orders for the tokens you are about to acquire.

    • Take-Profit (TP): You can set a TP percentage (e.g., +20%). If your market buy is successful, the bot will automatically create a limit sell order for the purchased tokens at a price that is 20% (or your chosen percentage) higher than your average buy price.

    • Stop-Loss (SL): You can set an SL percentage (e.g., -10%). If your market buy is successful, the bot will automatically create a limit sell order for the purchased tokens at a price that is 10% (or your chosen percentage) lower than your average buy price.

    • Configuration: These options are presented to you during the market buy setup flow, before you finalize the purchase.

    • One-Cancels-Other (OCO): If you set both a TP and an SL percentage, you can enable OCO. This means if your TP order fills, the corresponding SL order will be automatically cancelled, and vice-versa.

These post-fill orders are standard limit orders and will be managed by the bot's monitoring system.

Adjusting Gas and Slippage for Trades

During the setup for both market buy and sell orders, you can customize the transaction's:

    • Gas Mode: Choose between "Saver," "Standard," or "Fast" gas modes. This affects the transaction fee you pay and potentially how quickly your transaction is confirmed on the blockchain. "Fast" typically costs more but confirms quicker.

    • Slippage Tolerance: Slippage is the difference between the expected price of a trade and the price at which the trade is actually executed. This can occur in volatile markets. You can set your preferred slippage tolerance as a percentage (e.g., 0.5%, 1%, 5%). A higher slippage tolerance increases the chance of your trade going through in fast-moving markets but might result in a less favorable price.

The last slippage and gas settings you selected will be stored in memory.

    Introduction to Limit Orders

A limit order is an instruction to buy or sell a token at a specified price or a more favorable one.

    • Buy Limit Order: Sets a maximum price you're willing to pay. The order will fill at your target price or lower.

    • Sell Limit Order: Sets a minimum price you're willing to accept. The order will fill at your target price or higher. Limit orders are not guaranteed to execute, as the market price may never reach your specified target.

    Creating Limit Buy/Sell Orders

You can set up limit orders through the bot's menu:

    1. Access Limit Orders:

      • Navigate from the Main Menu: πŸ€– Advanced Bots -> πŸ“Š Limit Orders.

      • Or use the /limit command.

    2. Choose Order Type: Select "βž• New Limit Buy" or "βž– New Limit Sell".

    3. Setup Process: The bot will guide you to input:

      • Token: The symbol or contract address of the token.

      • Budget/Quantity: For a buy order, the total CRO budget. For a sell order, the total quantity of the token to sell.

    4. Preview & Confirm: Before placing the order, you'll see a preview with all the details, including any automatic adjustments to Max TX based on minimum transaction value requirements. If everything looks correct, confirm to activate the order.

    Setting Post-Fill Take-Profit & Stop-Loss (for Limit Buys)

For Limit Buy orders, you can configure Take-Profit (TP) and Stop-Loss (SL) percentages during the setup of the limit buy order itself.

    • If your limit buy order (or a chunk of it, if using Max TX > 1) successfully fills, the bot can automatically create corresponding limit sell orders based on your TP/SL settings relative to your fill price.

    • OCO (One-Cancels-Other): If both TP and SL are set for a filled limit buy, OCO can be enabled, meaning if one of these post-fill orders executes, the other will be automatically cancelled.

Viewing & Managing Active Limit Orders

    • View Orders: Navigate to πŸ€– Advanced Bots -> πŸ“Š Limit Orders -> πŸ“‘ Active Limit Orders, or use the /limits command. This will list your active limit orders with their status and details.

    • Cancel Orders: From the "Active Limit Orders" list, you can select an order to cancel it. You can also use the /cancel <order_id> command.

    DCA (Dollar Cost Averaging) Orders

DCA orders help you manage market volatility by spreading your buys or sells over a period through automated, regular purchases or sales.

    What is DCA?

Dollar Cost Averaging is an investment strategy where you divide the total amount to be invested across periodic purchases of a target asset. This approach can reduce the impact of volatility on the overall purchase. Similarly, you can use DCA to sell an asset gradually over time.

    Setting Up DCA Buy/Sell Strategies

    1. Access DCA Orders:

      • Navigate from the Main Menu: πŸ€– Advanced Bots -> ⏳ DCA Orders.

      • Or use the /dca command.

    2. Choose Order Type: Select "βž• New DCA Buy" or "βž– New DCA Sell".

    3. Setup Process: The bot will guide you through:

      • Token: The token you want to DCA.

      • Total Budget/Quantity: The total amount of CRO to spend (for buys) or the total quantity of the token to sell.

    4. Preview & Confirm: The bot will show a preview, including the estimated number of intervals and the amount per interval. Confirm to activate your DCA strategy. The bot will then automatically execute trades at the set intervals.

Viewing & Managing Active DCA Orders

    • View Strategies: Navigate to πŸ€– Advanced Bots -> ⏳ DCA Orders -> πŸ“‘ Active DCA Strategies, or use the /dcas command. This lists your active and paused DCA strategies.

    • Cancel Strategies: From the "Active DCA Strategies" list, you can select a strategy to cancel it. You can also use the /cancel <dca_id> command.

      • The bot may automatically pause a DCA strategy if, for example, there are insufficient funds for a buy interval or insufficient token balance for a sell interval.

    🎯 Sniper Panel

The Sniper Panel, designed for automated trading of newly listed pairs, is an upcoming feature. Stay tuned for updates on its release and capabilities!

    ⏳ TWAP Orders

TWAP (Time-Weighted Average Price) orders are an upcoming feature. This strategy is designed to execute larger orders by breaking them down into smaller chunks and executing them at regular intervals over a defined period, aiming to achieve an average execution price close to the time-weighted average price and minimize market impact. More details will be available soon!

Target Price: The price at which you want the order to trigger. You can set this in USD or CRO.
  • Max Transactions (Max TX): This setting allows you to break down a larger order into potentially multiple smaller transactions.

    • If you set Max TX to a number greater than 1 (e.g., 5), the bot will aim to fill your order in up to that many chunks if necessary. These chunks are typically sized using a "triangular distribution" strategy, meaning earlier chunks might be smaller, with later chunks potentially being larger if the order hasn't fully filled.

    • Why use Max TX > 1?

      • Large Orders: For significant order sizes, splitting into smaller chunks can help manage execution and may reduce the immediate price impact compared to a single, very large market operation.

      • Low Liquidity Tokens: This can be particularly beneficial for tokens with lower liquidity. Executing smaller portions over time might find better fill opportunities or reduce slippage, as a single large order could quickly exhaust available liquidity at your desired price.

    • Bot's Execution Logic: Even if Max TX is set higher (e.g., to 5), if the market conditions are favorable (good price, sufficient liquidity for a large portion or the entire order), the bot will attempt to fill your order efficiently and may complete it in fewer than the "Max TX" number of transactions. The "Max TX" serves as an upper limit on the number of attempts if the order needs to be worked progressively. Each individual chunk must still meet minimum transaction value requirements.

  • Advanced Options (Optional): You can also configure Time-in-Force (currently GTC - Good 'Til Cancelled is standard) and Gas Mode.

  • Interval
    : How often each buy/sell should occur (e.g., '1 hour', '15 min', '1 day').
  • Duration: The total period over which the DCA strategy should run (e.g., '1 week', '3 months').

  • Support & FAQs

This section provides answers to common questions and offers tips for troubleshooting.

    Common Questions (FAQs)

Q: Is Cronus Agent free to use? A: Cronus Agent applies a small, transparent trading fee of 0.5% on trades executed through the bot. Standard Cronos network gas fees for transactions also apply and are paid from your bot wallet's CRO balance.

Q: What fees are involved when trading? A: There are two main types of fees: 1. Cronus Agent Trading Fee: A 0.5% fee is applied to the value of your trades facilitated by the bot. 2. Cronos Network Gas Fees: Every transaction on the Cronos blockchain (like buying, selling, approving tokens, placing limit orders) requires a gas fee paid in CRO. This fee goes to the network validators, not to Cronus Agent. The amount can vary based on network congestion and the complexity of the transaction.

Q: Which decentralized exchange does Cronus Agent use? A: Cronus Agent primarily routes its trades through VVS Finance, a prominent decentralized exchange on the Cronos network.

Q: Is my private key safe with Cronus Agent? A: We take security very seriously. Your private key is encrypted using strong security measures and is managed by an isolated component designed to protect it. Please see the "πŸ›‘οΈ Security & How It Works" section for more details on our security architecture. Remember to also keep your PIN secure.

Q: Can I use my existing Cronos wallet with the bot? A: Cronus Agent generates a new, dedicated wallet for you within the bot environment when you first start. You can deposit CRO and other tokens to this bot wallet to trade, and withdraw CRO from it to your other external wallets. You cannot directly connect an existing external wallet (like MetaMask or a hardware wallet) to control the bot's trading functions.

Q: Why did my trade (buy/sell) fail? A: Trades can fail for several reasons: * Insufficient CRO for Gas: You need enough CRO in your bot wallet to cover network transaction fees. * Slippage Too Low: In a fast-moving market, the price might change beyond your set slippage tolerance before the transaction confirms. You can adjust slippage during trade setup. * No Liquidity/Route: The token pair might have insufficient liquidity on VVS Finance, or a trading route couldn't be found. * Token Issues: Some tokens have high taxes, anti-whale mechanisms, or might even be honeypots (scams). The bot's filters (if sniper is used) and GoPlus integration (on price cards) aim to provide some warning, but always do your own research (DYOR). * Network Congestion: The Cronos network might be busy, leading to transaction timeouts or failures.

Q: Why is my Limit/DCA order not executing? A: * Limit Orders: The market price may not have reached your specified target price. Limit orders only fill at your target price or better. * DCA Orders: * The next interval may not have been reached yet. * There might be insufficient CRO (for buys) or token balance (for sells) in your wallet to execute the next interval's trade. The DCA order might be paused in such cases. * General: Market conditions like very low liquidity or extreme volatility can also affect order execution. Check the status of your orders in the respective "Active Orders" menus.

Q: What happens if I stop the bot or my Telegram disconnects? A: Cronus Agent's core order processing (like monitoring active Limit and DCA orders) runs on a server. So, even if your Telegram app is closed or you're offline, your active server-side orders will continue to be monitored and executed if their conditions are met (provided your bot wallet has sufficient funds and approvals).

Q: How do I get the latest price for a token? A: You can simply type the token's symbol, name, or contract address directly into the chat with the bot. The bot will display a Price Card with current market information. Price information is also shown when you initiate a buy or sell process.

Q: Why do I need to "approve" tokens before I can sell them? A: Approving a token is a standard security step in decentralized finance for ERC-20 tokens (the common token type). It gives permission to the bot's smart contract system to transfer that specific token out of your wallet when you confirm a sell. This is typically a one-time action per token for Cronus Agent.

    Troubleshooting Tips

    • Insufficient CRO for Gas: Always ensure your bot wallet has a sufficient CRO balance to cover network transaction fees. Even small operations require some gas.

    • Refresh Bot State: If the bot seems unresponsive or stuck, try sending the /menu or /start command to refresh its main interface.

    How to Get Support

If you encounter issues that you cannot resolve with the FAQs or troubleshooting tips, or if you have other questions, you can reach out through the following channels:

    • Official Telegram Channel: (For announcements and general information)

    • Founder&Dev (Telegram):

    • Mail: [email protected]

When reporting an issue, please provide as much detail as possible to help us assist you effectively:

    • Your Telegram username or User ID (if known).

    • A clear description of the problem.

    • The steps you took that led to the issue.

    • Any error messages shown by the bot.

Check Error Messages: If an operation fails, the bot usually provides an error message. Read it carefully as it might indicate the cause (e.g., "Insufficient balance," "No VVS liquidity").
  • Token Issues: If you're having trouble with a specific token (especially a new or obscure one), check it on a Cronos block explorer (like Cronoscan) or a charting site (like Dexscreener). Look for alerts, high taxes, or low liquidity.

  • Active Orders Not Executing:

    • For Limit Orders, ensure the market price has actually crossed your target price.

    • For DCA Orders, check if they are paused due to insufficient funds/tokens or if the end date has been reached. Use the "Active DCA Strategies" menu to check.

  • PIN Lockout: If you enter your PIN incorrectly too many times, access will be temporarily locked. Please wait for the specified lockout duration before trying again.

  • Restart Telegram: Sometimes, simply restarting your Telegram application can resolve display or connectivity issues with any bot.

  • Screenshots (if helpful and do not display sensitive information).
  • Transaction hashes (if the issue is related to a specific on-chain transaction).

  • IMPORTANT SECURITY REMINDER: NEVER share your private key or your PIN with anyone, including individuals claiming to be support staff. Cronus Agent support will NEVER ask for your private key or PIN.
